Sudbury, Concord and MetroWest · Trabalhe com a gente

We are hiring painters and carpenters.

Year-round work, paid weekly, on time. Crews that know each other. English or Portuguese — both work here.

  • Year-round — no winter layoffs
  • Own tools only — we supply ladders, staging and spray
  • Português falado em todas as equipes

Winter work: cabinets, interiors and trim, so nobody is stood down in January.

Residential Painter

Pintor residencial — Interior and exterior, brush and spray, on houses that people are living in.

What you would be doing

  • Surface prep — scraping, sanding, feathering edges, spot-priming bare wood. This is most of the job and it is what separates a five-year repaint from a fifteen-year one.
  • Cutting in by hand. We do not tape everything and hope.
  • Spray work on cabinets and new trim, with proper masking.
  • Setting up and breaking down protection every day in occupied houses.
  • Working clean around older housing stock — most of MetroWest predates 1978, and how a crew handles dust, chips and cleanup is the difference between a good reputation and a bad one.

What we are looking for

  • Three or more years on residential work, or two plus an obvious eye for finish.
  • Your own hand tools. We supply ladders, staging, sprayers, and all material.
  • A driver’s licence and reliable transport to the yard in Sudbury.
  • English or Portuguese. Both is useful, neither is a barrier — every crew has a bilingual lead.

Finish and Repair Carpenter

Carpinteiro de acabamento e reparo — Rot repair, trim replacement, sill and corner-board work ahead of the painters.

What you would be doing

  • Cutting out and replacing rotted clapboard, trim, sills, corner boards and rake boards.
  • Matching existing profiles on houses that are frequently older than the profiles sold today.
  • Azek and PVC trim work where the customer wants it not to come back.
  • Working half a day ahead of the paint crew so the schedule does not stall.

What we are looking for

  • Five or more years of exterior repair carpentry in New England, or equivalent.
  • Comfortable diagnosing why the rot happened, not just replacing the board.
  • Own hand and cordless tools. We supply saws, staging and material.

Why people stay

The honest version: this is a painting company, so the work is physical, the summer is hot and the ladders are the same ladders everywhere else. What is different is the parts that are usually broken elsewhere.

  • You get paid on time, every week. Ask anyone who has worked for a contractor that pays when the customer pays why this matters.
  • The schedule is real. Carpentry runs ahead of paint, material is on site before the crew is, and nobody is sent to a job that is not ready.
  • We do not sub out your work. Our carpentry is in-house, which means the carpenter and the painter are on the same side.
  • Winter is planned for. Interiors and cabinets are booked in the autumn precisely so that January is not empty.

FAQ

Questions people ask before they call

Is the work year-round or seasonal?

Year-round. Exteriors run roughly April to October and interiors, cabinets and carpentry fill November to March. That balance is deliberate — we would rather keep a crew through the winter than rebuild one every spring, which is why we do not lay off in December.

Do I need to speak English?

No. Most of our painters are Brazilian and Portuguese is the working language on several crews. Every crew has a bilingual lead, and every job has a named English-speaking project manager who handles the customer. If you speak both, say so — that skill is in short supply and we pay for it.

Não. A maior parte da nossa equipe é brasileira e o português é a língua de trabalho em várias equipes.

Am I an employee or a subcontractor?

Employee. We carry workers compensation on our own people — that is the whole reason a customer can ask us for a certificate of insurance and get one the same day. It also means Massachusetts wage-and-hour rules apply to you properly, including overtime.

What does the pay look like?

It depends on experience and on what you can actually do unsupervised, so we talk about it honestly on the first call rather than publishing a number that turns out not to apply to you. What we will commit to in writing: paid weekly, on time, every week, and no unpaid travel between the yard and the first job of the day.

I hold a lead-safe renovator certification. Does that matter?

Tell us on the first call. Massachusetts requires a certified Lead-safe Renovator-supervisor on any job that disturbs paint above the thresholds in a pre-1978 home, and most of MetroWest predates 1978 — so that credential is genuinely scarce and genuinely valuable, and it is a real part of the conversation about what you are paid. How do I apply?

Call (978) 798-4002 and say you are calling about work, or fill in the form on this page. We will call you back within a couple of days. No résumé needed — we would rather see a few photos of finish work you are proud of.
