About this tool
Is this a quote?
No, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. It is a market range for the scope you described, built from published 2026 Massachusetts pricing. A real quote requires someone standing at your house looking at what is actually failing. What this does is let you walk into three estimate appointments already knowing roughly what you should be hearing.
Where do the numbers come from?
Published 2026 ranges from independent Massachusetts painting companies, cross-checked against national datasets from HomeGuide and Angi, plus regulated figures from Mass.gov. Every figure is sourced on our pricing page. Where sources disagreed we used the lower, more widely corroborated number.
Why is the range so wide?
Because prep condition is the single biggest driver and no tool can see your house. A sound wall needing a wash and two coats and a wall with 40% peeling are the same square footage and not remotely the same job. Tick the “poor condition” option and you will see the range move accordingly.
Will you hold me to this number?
We will hold ourselves to explaining any difference. Our written estimate is a single fixed price, and if it lands outside the range this tool gave you, we will show you exactly which part of your house is responsible.
Do I have to give you my details to see the result?
No. The number appears as you type. There is no email gate. If you want us to come out and turn it into a real quote, the form is underneath.
